Conferences and Training Record

In 2023, we worked with international partners in two major public forums: the World Bank seminar in Washington and the Cyber Week session in Tel Aviv. Together, these events show how sector cyber resilience moved from method design to implementation dialogue.

World Bank Seminar on Securing Critical Infrastructure

On June 21, 2023, the World Bank Digital Development Global Practice held the Seminar on Securing Critical Infrastructure [1] in Washington, DC (MC-C2-350) and on Zoom.

The discussion covered cyber risk in critical sectors during digital transformation, together with institutional, regulatory, operational, and technical measures for resilience. The seminar was part of the World Bank Cyber Resilience Event Series [2].

Our SCMM collaboration with World Bank teams continued through this period, and seminar attendance was approximately 160 participants. The formal methodology reference is the World Bank SCMM publication record [3].

Cyber Week 2023: Scaling up Cyber Capacity Building

On June 28, 2023, Cyber Week hosted the session Scaling up Cyber Capacity Building: The Sectoral Approach to Critical Infrastructure Protection [4] in Tel Aviv.

The session focused on SCMM implementation across four sectors: health, financial services, electricity, and digital infrastructure and telecommunications, with country work across Africa and Asia.

Speakers and panelists represented the World Bank, Tel Aviv University, Israel National Cyber Directorate, Inter-American Development Bank, EBRD, GFCE, CERT.tg, and private-sector organizations. The public visual record is available in the Cyber Week gallery [5], and the session video appears on YouTube [6].
