Dr. Iftach Haitner is a faculty member of the Blavatnik School of Computer Science at TAU. He is a member of the Israeli Center of Research Excellence in Algorithms (iCORE) and the Check Point Institute for Information Security. Up until July 2010, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Microsoft Research New England. Prior to that, he did a six months post doctorate in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Haifa. He received his Ph.D. in 2008 from the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at the Weizmann Institute of Science. He also received his M.A. from the Weizmann Institute and completed his undergraduate studies in Mathematics and Computer Science at TAU. Dr. Haitner’s main research interests are Cryptography and Computational Complexity.
